Central Library holds a unique position in Ananda Chandra College. The library is committed to serve the need of the undergraduate and post graduate students, faculty members and non-teaching staff since its inception in 1942. It is the main source of knowledge, which is an integral and important part of our institute for higher learning. The library aims to collect all the books and periodicals in order to fulfil the need of the students and faculties with a vision to cater through the seed of knowledge among all the learners. It provides a full range of high quality services based on both print and electronic media to the students, teachers, non-teaching staff of Ananda Chandra College and external readers and researchers from other institutions. The computerization of the library has been done using Koha Library Management Software and services like acquisition, searching and lending are all automated.
